Dot and I have such different interests that many people said our marriage would not last. She is the extrovert and used to embarrass me but after 45 years I have got used to her, but she does refer to me as a boring old fart because I'm more subdued than she is, especially in company. She had her second jab a few days ago, and we got stuck in an absolute gridlock on the way to the vaccination centre, I took a nice long country diversion on the way back home. Things are very slow to grow in the garden at the moment because it has been so cold and although I was sunbathing a few weeks ago it has not been possible just lately.

Sounds like the server is down. All is well here and we have been doing some gardening. Bought a few plants as some had died over the winter. Had my second jab last Friday and Dot is due for hers next week. With the age difference it means we cannot get them at the same time and we have even used different venues Did you try to message me on "nextdoor" I get a lot of emails from them and thought I saw your name on one message.

@Dave Sutton You usually wait just 3 weeks for the second jab. I got my second jab a month ago. You waited quite a while for your second.

@Craig Long It was a calculated risk by our government to get as many people vaccinated with first jab, and it looks like it paid off.

I'm a liitle apprehensive about diaspora because it's very possible that any pod that you visit in the Fediverse could be hosting malware. To get stu ff published you need to apply for an content providers account. I got mine within hours. After many years of trying I still do not have an artists channel on Giphy but they have allowed me to post animations

@Dave Sutton - <sigh> Well, that puts a dent in things. I'd really prefer to interact with you in a place where I do not have to receive email notifications. The alternative to not receiving email notifications for this would be to keep yet another tab open. Not a very friendly option. Well, I'll comment here occasionally, but I don't plan to publish my own posts.

Tenor are a delight to work with and are always available.. Giphy on the other hand will answer my emails sometimes, but obviously don't bother to read them. They have had things that are not working correctly on my dashboard since I joined them
