I must be getting really old and forgetful because I cannot remember entering a competition for a rake, but Dot is chuffed with it

I had to cross the [seemingly] never ending mountains in New Mexico. Also, I had no idea that Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida panhandle were so darn hilly! I thought I was on a roller-coaster! Plus, I took a "recommended" detour that I think was slower than it would have been had I stayed on the interstate and got caught up in a few backups.

I know you were kidding, but . . . .

Us Brits on our little ol Island sometimes find it difficult to comprehend just how big the US is, and your hills are probably mountains to us.
