She says that she misses Google+ and could never really connect with anyone on Twitter. It will be another month before the builders finish the work on her house. She is still struggling with the after effects of Covid A return visit to Tahiti in August is planned She requested that naughty boy Craig should drop her a line and let her know how everything is going on
Struggling with after effects, eh? Did she say what sort of effects?
She said..... I'm still struggling with the leftover Covid symptoms. My sense of taste is starting to return a bit, but I'm having a terrible time with my breathing. My doctor put me on cortisone, but it's not helping. I wheeze and rattle like an old wagon wheel crossing a river
@Dave Sutton - That's awful! I am both thankful and very lucky that I have yet to get Covid. I probably will at some point, but I hope it's not anytime soon.
@David Lazarus I'm not aware that I have had it either, but so many people around me have had it, including my son who lives with us.
What does she mean by she couldn't connect with us on Twitter? Why can't she come here and connect with us? I really don't like to chat privately.
She can connect with her favourite boys, but found she could not connect with other people like she did on G+.and she has problems to post anything here. I have not helped matters by flitting about all over the place on different social media sites. You have to remember she only uses a mobile phone for internet work and I certainly would struggle to do that. Kathy is spoken for now and has a man in her life who intends to look after her, but she considers you a good friend and actually worries about you, Not surprised a good-looking bloke like you has a few widows on your doorstep.
Hope your all having a nice easter w/end.. (can you believe it..!! I don't have any chocolate..!?!)
Unfortunately not had the pleasure to know Kathy.. But as an ex g+er myself, it's been interesting meeting people i didn't know on there.. Most of the peeps i knew/know went to MeWe (personally i can't stand the place..!!)
So far so good... re covid... Haven't caught it yet.. but do know a couple of people that have unfortunately had it..
Sending lotsa loves from my little corner of the world.. take care all.. Cx
{regards to Dot too.. ;0) }
My granddaughter popped round and introduced us to her new boyfriend, he's an intelligent lad and hopes to become a lawyer, we were all able to sit in our sunny back garden. Yesterday Dot could not pull the detergent draw out on her washing machine, I had integrated it into a kitchen unit so had to removed wooden doors, pull the machine out, remove the top but could still not fix it so consulted YouTube. The remedy was simple, I just had to remove the draw front and relocate the softener container inside, so all the previous work was unnecessary. Not a lot of chocolate here, but I have treated myself to a box of After Eight chocolate thins. Incidently, in the village I live in I'm always referred to as Dot's husband, so it just shows the sort of relationship we have
@Dave Sutton - Is your granddaughter's boyfriend getting into law to help people or because the pay is good?
@David Lazarus They are only youngsters and still have to get qualifications for university, so ambitions can change very quickly. For years my granddaughter wanted to be a vet but now has decided she would like to get into forensics
