3D Animated Gif Artist
Here's a link to my regarding said project. Enjoy!
I am trying to subscribe to your blog using "continue with Google" but it just takes me in a loop and asks me to "continue with Google" again. Do I need to create an account just to follow your blog? I just want email notifications of your blog posts. You do good work!
@Craig Long - Are you trying to login with Google on a tablet? I have that problem with this site sometimes when I use my tablet. If you're using a desktop or laptop PC, try a different browser.
@David Lazarus I'm on my computer. I'll try a different browser.
Edge browser says I need a account to continue. I don't have one but I might try to create one unless I need to do something with the account.
@David Lazarus Oh I was finally able to log in with Google so I have a account.
@Craig Long - Good. I was just getting ready to type, "Edge is sadly mistaken." I never use Edge. IE by any other name is still IE. I use Firefox 99.9% of the time.
And I am following your blogs.
I get it. I don't have to blog to get followed.
Great work David, a lot of patience required in rendering it. I cannot log in with Google either
@Dave Sutton - Thanks. I appreciate the compliment. Yes, the rendering took longer than I anticipated. I need a dedicated GPU and more RAM.
@Dave Sutton - Would you be willing to plug my blog post about the animation project on one of your high traffic accounts? I'd really appreciate it.
@David Lazarus Maybe you can collaborate on something. I'm sure he can use your work as a background for an animation.
The only high traffic account is Giphy and that is because I get things like "happy birthday"" and "I love you animations" into the trending section. It is not possible to get loads of views on anything that resembles advertising, I have tried it
If you were to set up a Twitter account, I would willingly share your posts but as Craig knows, my following is predominately teenagers who seem to have the world's troubles on their shoulders
The idea about backgrounds for animations is something I have considered and contacted an artist on Giphy who made similar fractals, but after some investigation discovered that the file size of fractals were far too big in comparison to one of my animations.
I will put a link to your blog on Facebook and Pinterest
@Dave Sutton - Yes, even short fractal animations create huge GIF files. BTDT. Is there another account that receives moderate traffic where you could potentially share it? I'm not trying to sell anything. At least not directly. I'm just trying to get more views for both Mathias and myself.
The only high traffic (500 views/day) I get is when YouTube suggests a video of mine. I only have one video that is currently suggested by YouTube and I don't even own the copyright to it. I colorized it or should I say AI (artificial intelligence) did. I always have to fix the color since AI does a poor job. I can't get the hands colored.
@Dave Sutton This is what I use to colorize these older videos:
@Craig Long - That's cool. I'd be looking for a tool with a few more effects for future fractal animation projects.
