Last I heard it was a Right Winger's heaven. Being a Leftist, I walked out pretty quickly. Well, between that and the cluttered interface with chat connected to everything. I recently created a page on FB to complement my Redbubble shop, but I can't stand the interface there either. Nor do I like the lack of being able to format text. No markdown. No nothing.
@Dave Sutton Your gifs don't play on Facebook unless you click on them. If gifs don't play automatically you might as well post videos. Facebook is a ghost town for gif lovers.
I have a mewe acc too.. & only use it occasionally to check up on some old g- pals.. Drives me effing crazy with all the stupid notifications etc.. + crap it spews forth.. (I turned everything off to do with it..) I'm contemplating getting rid of it, especially since it's taking up a lot of space on my phone, for the amount of time i use it ..
Don't, won't, haven't, will not & refuse to use f/b....so sorry guy's i won't be following you there... :0)
@Corinne Howell - No worries about FB. Until I decided to create a page for my Redbubble shop, I only used my personal account for activism. I can't stand FB either. I just thought, perhaps, I was shooting myself in the foot by not creating a page for my Redbubble shop.
I set up a Facebook page Dot Dave pretending to be Dot and posting really weird things with awful spelling, my very large family, mostly in London, soon cottoned on it was me, so I use it now to speak to my baby monkey sister (Craig knows what I mean)
Thanks to a boost from Corinne I now have a Pinterest account with 3000 followers but cannot post animated gifs directly to my pins any longer
As an animator I like to interact on Social media to publicize my work, but it is very time-consuming
It's nice to come here and have informal and honest chats

I have a page on Facebook and I still don't know all the ins and outs of how it all works, 3D Gif Artist and Content provider for Tenor & Giphy | Facebook

@Craig Long Very true, but I'm a lazy sod and making videos is a lot of hard work. My enjoyment is in making the artwork that creates the gif.
Would you like and follow my page too?

I'm following! I rarely go to Facebook however. I'm bored with social media pretty much.
I see David has a YouTube channel:

@Craig Long I like it how I'm Dave and David is David, I am a quarter Irish, so it could explain that comment
@Dave Sutton - Yes, I will answer to either. However, I do prefer to be called David.
