I’m playing about with Instagram just to see how it works and my last video which was for the New Year got an email from them telling me it had been taken down because I was using copyright music. The music came from the YouTube Audio Library, which is for use with any of their videos. I can still see it, is it there for you, Dave (@3dgifartist) • Instagram photos and videos
I can see it and I don't even have an account. Isn't that song pretty darn old? How can it still be under copyright? That should be fair use anyway, IMO.
Thanks David, This is the message I got, We've removed the video that you posted at 3:6 am on December 30, 2021 because it included the following content:
Auld Lange Syne by U.S. Navy Band They still have not removed it!
@Dave Sutton - Good!
If it's in the YouTube Audio Library and you get this same problem when uploaded to YouTube then file a dispute with YouTube. I don't know how Instagram works. I still see the video so maybe they had second thoughts?

It is still there a day later and someone else had the same problem Instagram allegedly doesn't think will.i.am is in The Black Eyed Peas (mashable.com)
I'm getting a couple of followers and I'm not even really trying
Ha! Not that I care about those "musicians", but it was probably the record label's doing and it's probably Instagram's policy to uphold the record label's desire regardless. I have no love for most record labels.
