We used to have a police station just around the corner, but that has been redeveloped, so we are very lucky if we just get a glimpse of a copper these days

It would never be a problem in Borough Green as it never gets crowded, but places like Maidstone, a town close to us, can be a bit of a problem with purse snatching in the shopping centres
