An Aspie is a high functioning autistic. There are those with more severe cases who cannot easily survive in a neurotypical world.
If you would like to learn more about autism, Orion Kelly's channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/orionkelly) is great. I discovered him by accident just yesterday. One of his videos popped up in my suggested. He instantly had a new subscriber after watching that one video.
Many years ago I made good friends online with Kathreen who ran an online forum for Essential tremor sufferers. She used me as an example of how someone with essential tremor need not be beaten by it (In all honesty it was support from Dot who refused to let me feel sorry for myself)
Kathreen also has Asperger's Syndrome and over the years that I spoke to her, I found her to be highly intelligent, but she always saw things as black and white, and sometimes she did not understand my sense of humour . She also said she was considering writing a book about some of the situations she got into because of her condition.
